The lifelikes of the 100-Series, created by Gnosis Laboratories, are robots human in appearance. They possess superior abilities to humans such as enhanced vision, speed, healing and intelligence.
There are twelve members of the 100-Series: Gabriel, Ezekiel, Faith, Hope, Raphael, Grace, Uriel, Patience, Verity, Daniel, Michael and Mercy.
Nicholas Monrova was the creator and “father” of the lifelikes. He based their personalities on those of members of his family.
Lifelikes, like all other robots, were created to obey the three laws. However, Nicholas Monrova wanted to use them against other humans and hence created a nanovirus to free the lifelikes from the three laws. He infected Gabriel, who then freed his brothers and sisters, who are the other lifelikes.
